Networking event brings in money

Posted: Updated:

Leaders at TRIDEC say their networking event brought some money into the Tri-Cities Thursday.

The 9th Annual Bridging Partnerships Small Business Symposium hit record numbers at the TRAC in Pasco.

Organizers say over 500 people came to learn about business strategies, contracting guidelines, and Hanford.

The event sold out 4 hotels in Pasco.

"We have people coming from all over and not only filling out our hotels, but our restaurants. Most have never been to the Tri-Cities. We've heard a lot of positive comments, and they enjoyed the wines. We had a great reception last night," says Tri-City Development Council's Kayla Pratt.

Pratt says the bigger boost to the economy will come when some of the business owners decide to move to the Tri-Cities.
