KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Two of the area's best basketball players finally know where they will go to college. They both took time to figure out the best situation for their basketball and academic futures.
Kamiakin senior Justin Pedley will take his 3.97 GPA to Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This year Pedley made the Washington AP all-state first team. His Kamiakin Braves won the CBBN 3A title.
Davis senior David Trimble will go to Seattle University. The Washington AP basketball player of the year also heard recruiting calls for football. Trimble led the Pirates to their first state basketball championship since 1965. In the state tournament he did everything. Trimble averaged 11 points, six assists, seven rebounds and three steals.
