SANFORD, Flor. - George Zimmerman's attorneys have announced they are no longer representing him. They say they're withdrawing as his counsel because they've lost contact with him.
Zimmerman is the neighborhood watch volunteer who shot and killed the unarmed teen, Trayvon Martin.
The lawyers, who never met Zimmerman face-to-face, but talked to him via text, email and phone say their former client is in hiding, and they believe he is far away.
Special Prosecutors are soon expected to announce whether Zimmerman will be charged in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
Trayvon Martin's parents say they believe he's a potential flight risk, and that the federal government claims to know where he is.
