NBC Right Now/KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA |Attorneys pick jurors, testimony starts Thursday

PASCO, WA- Prosecutors Thursday morning will call the first witness in the trial of a man accused of murder.

Attorneys and Franklin County Superior Court Judge Robert Swisher Wednesday picked seven men and seven women to hear the evidence against Gregorio Luna Luna.

Pasco police arrested Luna Luna in May 2010 and charged him the first degree murder of his former girlfriend.

In the months before her stabbing death, prosecutors say Griselda Ocampo Meza had called 911 on several occasions, saying Luna Luna had assaulted her.
