KENNEWICK, WA. -- Candidate for Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson stopped by our station on Tuesday.

Ferguson is currently a lawyer and King County council member. He's running as a Democratic against Republican Reagan Dunn and Republican Steve Pidgeon.

Ferguson says he supports tougher legal penalties and marriage equality. Some of his main platform points are protecting Washington's natural environment, being an advocate for veterans, and being fiscally responsible, saving taxpayer's money.

Ferguson told us, "no one else running for this office has anywhere near the support we have from the legal community. I think it's a reflection of my broad background both on making public policy, but also as a practicing attorney."

The next campaign stop for Ferguson is a lunch tomorrow with firefighters in Spokane, followed by a meet and greet with the Kalispell Tribe.
