KENNEWICK, Wash. -- A Prosser man is accused of using his job at the Kennewick Amazon.com call center to illegal buy merchandise. 20-year old Patrick Brown, Jr. was arrested Thursday at the call center.
Police say he used his job as a customer service representative to fraudulently deposit credit into his accounts, which he would then use to buy merchandise.
Police say he shipped that merchandise to 1214 W. Dudley in Prosser, where Brown lives in an apartment.
While officers were executing a search warrant at the apartment, three juveniles were found inside. They had attempted to hide several big ticket items before leaving the apartment. The landlord told police they were not authorized to be in the apartment, so they were arrested for residential burglary and booked into the juvenile justice center.
The property ordered by Brown, using fraudulently gained credit, was recovered in the basement apartment.
