HEPPNER, Or. -- Former Heppner High School Teacher Wendy Cannin was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to having sex with two of her students.
Cannin pleaded guilty to rape, sodomy and sexual abuse charges after admitting she had sex with two teenage boys, ages 15 and 17.
The Oregon attorney general's office said Thursday the 31-year-old Cannin must also register as a sex offender after serving her sentence.
Cannin resigned shortly before her arrest last August.
