KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA | A Sammamish man found dead near Vantage

NEAR VANTAGE, Wash. -- A body has been recovered of a 60 year old Sammamish man who died in a remote area, 10 miles north of Vantage.
Kittitas County Sheriff's Marine Patrol arrived to the Scammon Landing, along the Columbia River at around 4:15 AM Sunday morning.
Deputies spoke to the daughter of Daniel Kruse, she said her father had trouble breathing and went unconscious.
Attempts to perform CPR failed, and Kruse was pronounced dead at the scene.
