KENNEWICK, Wash.-- The main thing recalled Toyota owners need to know is today Toyota said those cars are still safe to drive.
Now this is directly opposite of what Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said yesterday before congress. He said to stop driving any of the recalled cars, but then he back-tracked and said they are safe to drive.
Local dealerships say they have instructions on how to fix the accelerator pedals. Now they are just waiting on getting the parts. They hope to have those by the end of the week.
