Brides Against Breast Cancer

Posted:

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Soon-to-be brides will be looking for their 'dream dress' this weekend while making dreams come true for breast cancer patients and their families.

The money from all wedding dress sales at the Three Rivers Bridal Show will go to the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation. The organization grants wishes to patients with Stage IV breast cancer.

"The thing about breast cancer is that it makes us all feel so helpless and it's this horrible thing that takes over people's lives", said Brenda Chovanak, event director. "This is something people can do. They can come down and volunteer or a bride can shop for her dress".

Here are the event details and times:

Power Hour Preview Shopping Spree - $20 Admission

- Friday, October 16 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
