NBC Right Now/KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA |Connect With Shane

Shane Edinger co-anchors NBC Right Now Local News at 5pm, 6pm, and 11pm.

Shane has more than 15 years of experience in television news and is no stranger to the Pacific Northwest. He grew up in Colfax, and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Shane has worked at TV stations in Missoula, Montana and Eugene, Oregon, and this is actually his second tour of duty at KNDU/KNDO. He recently moved back to Washington after spending the last six years as a news anchor at WVIR-TV in Charlottesville, Virginia. Shane and his wife are excited to be back home in the Northwest, and closer to friends and family.

When he's not working, you'll probably find Shane chasing a golf ball around one of the great golf courses in our area, or chasing the family dog down one of the many trails and walking paths along the Columbia River.
