YAKIMA, Wash. - Charlie O'Reilly is the fan's version of a baseball journeyman. Since 1990, O'Reilly's made it his mission to visit every ballpark in America. On Wednesday night, he stopped in Yakima.

It marked O'Reilly's second visit to County Stadium, but his first since 1994.

"It's not a bad little park. I've seen worse," remarked O'Reilly.

The New Jersey native has visited parks from Kalamazoo (MI) to Kannapolis (MD), Jupiter (FLA) to Zebulon (NC), while conquering Rome (GA), Carthage (MO), and Troy (NY) along the way.

O'Reilly says his journey started in the late 1980's when he visited the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. From there, O'Reilly took in a game in nearby Little Falls, NY.

"After that, I sort of got hooked and a couple of years later I tried making vacations out of it. So I did"

O'Reilly says his favorite ballpark moment came just 12 minutes from his home. O'Reilly saw Jim Abbot pitch a no-hitter at Yankee Stadium in 1993.

O'Reilly's current west coast swing includes a formidable travel regimen. He flew into San Francisco on Monday. That night he watched a game in Stockton, CA. On Tuesday, O'Reilly took in a game in Eugene, OR. Wednesday night it was Yakima's County Stadium. The plan for Thursday is Missoula. Friday it's Helena. Saturday it's Orem, UT. Sunday it's back to San Francisco for a flight home... to New Jersey.
