YAKIMA--Job seekers headed to the Yakima Bears' office Saturday for the minor league team's job fair.
The Bears need to fill about 60 summer ballpark jobs. Concessions, grounds crew, cooks and score keepers are just a few of the positions they're looking to fill.
The Bears haven't held a job fair in the past few years, but they're trying to get the best possible employees this time around.
"The quality of our ballpark workers is so important to the fan experience," Bears General Manager K.L. Wombacher said. "We want to make sure we get good people."
Wombacher and the rest of the Bears' front office staff interviewed more than 100 people Saturday.
The Bears are taking applications at their office on N. 3rd St. for the next two weeks.
