Those stubborn clouds are hanging with us again today. This is what happens when our weather pattern calms down. The layer of stratus clouds sits over the top of us until a weather system pushes it out.
We'll have temperatures in the mid to upper 40's this afternoon under mostly cloudy skies. I am holding out hope that we'll see a few sun breaks later today.
Tomorrow night is just what the doctor ordered. A weather system will push into the Northwest and give us a few rain showers into Thursday morning. I guess sometimes things have to get worse before they get better.
Another weather system moves in Thursday night into Friday giving us more rain showers.
We'll start to dry out by the upcoming weekend. Just in time for Valentines Day Sunday.
Random Fact of the Day: The early origins of Valentine's Day can be traced back to the ancient Roman celebration of Lupercalia, which was held on February 15. The celebration of Lupercalia honored the gods Lupercus and Faunus and the founders of Rome.
Have a good one!
